2008 was a year when a lot of stuff went badly, especially the international financial situation. But one thing went very, very well: the historic and inspirational presidential campaign of Barack Obama.
My wife suggested that this year's holiday card reflect Obama's positive message, so the "Sarah Palin Gutting Rudolph" card never saw the light of day. Instead I blatantly co-opted Shepard Fairey's iconic Obama image, and relayed a message that hopefully everyone can get behind.
