This card confused some of my friends and family who expect my cards to have a topical message. This had none, but that did not prevent some folks for looking for a deeper meaning. Were the nuts a metaphor for the Republican Party? Is the squirrel Obama? Nope, it's just cute.
I personalized each card by writing the recipient's name on the "TO:" line on the gift tag, which took a bit of organization.
